My name is Mrs. Frable, although some of you know me as Miss Macey.
I have been teaching music at Pleasant Valley Middle School for the past 5 years. I teach many classes with diverse interests in music. The 8th grade classes you may take with me are: General Music or Intro to Piano. The 9th grade classes you may take with me are: Music Appreciation, Music Fundamentals, or Vocal Techniques. I also have three choirs, 8th grade, 9th grade, and a mixed Select Choir.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Millersville University and a Master's Degree in Media Communication & Technology from East Stroudsburg University. In undergrad studies my major performance area was actually clarinet, not voice! I miss playing so much, but love my choirs. In graduate studies I have been working to bridge the gap between the current world of technology and the traditional world of music.
In addition to music, I also work as an assistant stage manager for many events held in the High School Auditorium. You may see me running around doing tech work for the High School Drama and Musical Productions as well as the Acoustic Shows, concerts and even some dance performances.
